I find myself agreeing with a lot of Terry’s philosophies. I mean he’s doing it all wrong. If he just bent a little with the studios, he would be making a lot of money and his movies would be a commercial success. But then he wouldn’t be this crazy old kook who makes beautiful, inspiring, and unique movies. He wouldn’t be my hero.
On Sunday I decided to build a fort. After many tries, I gave up because I had very limited supplies. Imagine my surprise, when I went to a friends house today I found that their kids had started to build a fort! I eagerly jumped in and tweaked some things so that I could fit in too. Here are some pictures of the results. Forts RULE!

I’ve been playing a lot of chess lately and I can honestly say…I would never want to be friends with most of the opponents I find in Los Angeles. Still, it is something I love about the game. That excuse to interact with someone you never would otherwise.
My bicycle, fully evolved. For the last year my bike has surpassed the car as primary mode of transportation. Now with a new paint job, Brooks saddle, and Ortlieb panniers…I think if finally shows.
