Motivation
Motivation is hard for me. I have always been a professional procrastinator. Now it’s not because I’m lazy, not at all. If anything I am too easily motivated. If I do get motivation to do something (such as write in my blog) I have to cling to that, because if I get motivated to do something else (watch Weeds with Dave) before I get to a computer, the old motivation is lost. Basicly ADD.
Now I have tried to trick myself into being motivated by convincing myself that one thing has priority over another, but what can I say, I have a strong grip on reality and playing mind games with myself rarely works…except for setting all my clocks ten minutes fast, that one still seems to work when I need it most.
The best motivation, I have found, has come from others. Though I can’t ask for it…that’s false and is essentially just me trying to trick myself. No, it has to be sincere. It also helps if it’s in the form of “you can’t do that” which is silly, because I can do anything. Ha see, motivated.
Now…tell me I can’t succeed.
