Pop Tarts

I was about to enjoy a cinnamon Pop Tart in my kitchen when it occurred to me.  I’ve never eaten a toasted Pop Tart.  I used to enjoy a Pop Tart everyday before school and it never really occurred to me.  Now here I am, a grown up…kinda, and a proud owner of a double sliced toaster.  Why not heat this delectable pastry? …I thought to myself.  Apparently that’s what you are supposed to do with them.  All these years I’ve been enjoying the Tart without the Pop.

Though the “Pop” was overall satisfying in the end it wasn’t worth it.  The only noticeable difference was I burned the roof of my mouth.  In my defense, no one told me when you toast the suckers…though the outside might be cool to the touch, the inside is like freakin magma.

…Ouch.
